This exquisite deck of forty two cards is composed of heavy over-sized card stock. Gilded in gold, the deck has a yummy buttery matte texture and the cards are so thick that I thought I was pulling two cards at once. The art is a mixture of ink and watercolor which lends to a mysterious and compelling feel. The energy pulls the reader in a subtle but profound way; like a hooded mystic beckoning the reader to follow her.

There is an elegant simplicity to the cards themselves. They are not numbered, but placed in alphabetical order. Each card bears a title. For instance, let us take a look at the card entitled Blessings. The two keywords for it are Unaware・ and Graceful.

These simplistic, yet powerful keywords compel the seeker to explore their blessings. How many blessings have you received, and yet are unaware of? How many times have you felt gratitude for even the simplest things? Open the guidebook and take a look at the creators' contemplations.

The 120 page guidebook is saddle bound and well constructed. The print is readable; which is especially important for those of us with poor eyesight. It is beautifully illustrated and filled with advice with every page.

Of course, no oracle deck can replace the help of a practiced mental health professional. However, the Soul Mirror Oracle is perfect for conducting shadow work, or doing deep dives into psychological traumas. And coupled with the help of a qualified therapist, it could give the seeker greater insights into one's trauma and thereby advance healing.

Beautifully rendered, with sound advice that applies to each card, as well as time for reflection, this deck makes for an excellent tool in the seeker's mental health arsenal. This is a deck that I use daily.
