From the preface: “This is a book of practical magick. If you picked up this book looking for some way to take control of your destiny, you’ve come to the right place.” I wholeheartedly agree. Kerr Cuhulain is a Warrior and a Witch, two terms not normally considered to be compatible, but for him being a Warrior is a matter of striving to master herself and her situation, which normally does not involve physical force. He believes that both paths overlap; “both have to do with forging your reality into something that you desire.”
Cuhulain divides the book into five sections each focusing on one of the five elements – spirit, earth, water, fire, and air. He discusses tools, techniques, gives examples for you to work through, touches on other belief systems (like the Hindu charkas), and he sums up what was discussed and hopefully learned at the end of each chapter, right before his footnotes and a list of sources from which he obtained some of his information. I found this book well documented, as he draws from a number of different sources.
Overall, this is one of the best books I've come across in on my path, and I highly recommend it. I have found it to be indispensibly useful.
