Imagine having access to thirty of the worlds’ best teachers in mindfulness helping you, every day and each week, to cope with the craziness of daily life. A Year of Living Mindfully is the next best thing. Each week the reader is given a quote, a related lesson, and a practice that brings it all together.

My favorite is “Wherever you are that is the entry point.” from Kabir, a 15th century Indian Poet.

Elisha Goldstein, Ph.D. chose this as his favorite quote and discussion. He points out that if the “intention is to bring awareness to the direct experience of the present moment, with fresh eyes, then life itself becomes the practice.”

The format is lovely, and easily readable and I genuinely enjoyed reading through. (Please note that my copy has a different cover.) This is a delightful book and I recommend it highly.
