Crystals are more than just pretty gemstones in jewelry. They hold the mysteries and secrets of the earth and her many wonders. Tapping into those energies will open a new world for the practitioner. I incorporate crystals and gemstones into my daily life everyday. I wear some as jewelry, display some on my altar, place them around my house and buried in my yard for protection. Most followers of the pagan path and well versed in gemstones and crystals but there are so many with various uses it can be hard to remember. You also never know what new stone you may discover and the energies within.

Crystal Magic is more than just a book with properties and images of gemstones and crystals. Author Sandra Kynes provides how to pronounce the stone, the background of the stone, and the best uses as a Pagan or Wiccan they can assist you in your everyday life and goals. There are even simple rituals included with some of the stones for further connection to its wisdom. The appendix A is a great resource and quick reference guide for a particular issue or situation. Appendix B covers deities and which stones are associated with whom. The information contained within is a must buy reference guide for today’s pagans and wiccans.

This is a book that I would recommend having handy to guide you on which stone to use for your next spell, ritual, or daily wanderings in the mundane world.
